David Morine is a partner in the firm. David’s practice focuses on general litigation including insurance defense, construction law, personal injury, and contract disputes. He represents a diverse clientele including individuals and local and national businesses. He is admitted to practice before all Montana courts, including the United States District Court for the District of Montana, and Minnesota state courts.
Before joining the firm, David served as a law clerk for Justice James Jeremiah Shea of the Montana Supreme Court and for Judge Jim Reynolds in Montana’s First Judicial District.
David grew up in Minneapolis, MN. He received his B.A. from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN. Prior to law school, David taught English in the Czech Republic and France.
David earned his J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Minnesota Law School, including a semester of study in international and European Union law at Université Jean Moulin Lyon III in Lyon, France. During law school he was a member of the Jessup International Moot Court Competition Team and the ABA Negotiation Competition Team.
David practiced law in Minnesota before moving to Montana in 2014.
Outside of the office, David teaches and mentors high school students as a coach of the mock trial teams at Helena High School. He is also one of the founding directors of the Montana High School Mock Trial Competition, along with his wife, Kayleigh.
